About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful and growing fashion supplier as an Sales Admin Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented graduate or second jobber looking to build a career within fashion sales and account management.

Our client is looking for someone with a genuine passion for fashion and product, some previous industry experience and a real desire to learn, succeed and progress.

Working closely with a Senior Account Manager, you will gain exposure to customer accounts, product development, suppliers, costings and negotiations, whilst receiving full training and mentoring to develop your career.

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, commercially minded, confident and personable, with good attention to detail and a real interest in the fashion industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Account Manager across customer accounts
  • Assist with product development and customer requirements
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas factories
  • Support costings, pricing and negotiations
  • Assist with samples, product development and key deadlines
  • Work closely with the design team
  • Gain valuable exposure to buyers and customer meetings
  • Develop your commercial and account management skills
  • Take on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and experience develops

Person Specification

  • Graduate or second jobber with some previous fashion industry experience
  • Genuine passion for fashion and product development
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships
  • Numerically confident with an interest in costings and pricing
  • Interested in negotiation and developing commercial skills
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • Commercially aware with a good understanding of the high street fashion market
  • Ambitious, driven and keen to build a long-term career in fashion sales
  • A positive team player with a real desire to succeed
