Good ideas need people who make them happen.
We’re looking for a Junior Account Manager to join Gardiner Richardson in Newcastle.
Someone who’s curious about brands and marketing, confident with clients and cares as much about the detail as the big idea.
We build brands and bring them to life. You’ll help us do both, working with our creative and communications teams to take projects from first brief to final delivery.
What you’ll bring
- At least two years’ experience working in an agency, with a grounding in client service and project delivery.
- Working knowledge of video, photography and design production (this is essential) — understanding the stages, people and practical requirements involved in getting great work made.
- Experience coordinating briefs, schedules, budgets and feedback, keeping clients informed and projects moving.
- Clear communication, a sharp eye for detail and the confidence to ask the right questions.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to get stuck in.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
