Junior Account Manager/ Buyer Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Account Manager/ Buyer to join one of our lovely, long-standing clients. This role will focus on childrenswear across higher-end high street accounts and will involve managing the product lifecycle from development through to delivery. This position is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in developing ranges, and experience in carrying out trend research, managing the critical path, and raising purchase orders.

- Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, delivering a high level of service and attention to detail
- Prepare, update, and manage costing sheets to ensure accurate pricing and margin control
- Take ownership of the critical path, ensuring all stages from development through to delivery are met on time
- Liaise closely with internal teams including design, merchandising, and production to ensure a smooth workflow
- Manage communication with Far East suppliers, including sending comments, chasing samples, and monitoring deliveries
- Track samples, approvals, lab dips, strike-offs, and submissions, maintaining accurate records throughout
- Proactively identify and resolve any production or delivery issues, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed
- Attend and support customer meetings where required
