Junior Account Manager
PR & Events | Full-time, 5 days a week | 4pm finish on Fridays | Fully remote, UK-wide
About LUYA
LUYA is an independent PR agency specialising in media relations, social media, influencer engagement, and events.
Our client portfolio spans hospitality, retail (with a particular strength in multi-site UK rollouts), property and place, leisure and travel, B2B and manufacturing.
We’re a collective of strategists, communications specialists, media experts, and event curators, all with boots-on-the-ground experience across the UK. Our team is spread throughout the country and unified by a shared purpose: to make brands unmissable.
The Role
We are looking for a Junior Account Manager to step up and take the reins on a portfolio of established hospitality and property accounts. Reporting to a Senior Account Manager and the Agency Director, you will be the daily point of contact for clients and will line manage a small team of Account Executives, ensuring activity is on brief, on time, and to the LUYA standard.
You will lead on PR strategy, media relations, and communications across your accounts, while also managing and attending events as part of LUYA’s wider service offering. You will work alongside our in-house Social Media team and our Influencer/Campaigns Exec on integrated campaigns.
Although the role is remote, working predominantly from home and through Teams, it includes regular onsite client meetings, team meet-ups, and catch-ups in Manchester and London, co-working sessions, and attendance at client events throughout the year.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
