About the Role
A leading organisation in the education sector is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their Group Finance Team based in London. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for you to develop your accounting skills within a supportive and collaborative environment, where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be highly valued. You will play a vital part in providing accounting and administrative support across group holding companies and central office costs.
Requirements
- A-levels or equivalent qualification demonstrating academic achievement suitable for entry into finance roles.
- Bookkeeping or foundation level accounting qualification or experience within a finance environment is beneficial for understanding core principles.
- A positive attitude paired with commitment to delivering high-quality work within a flexible framework.
- Exceptional attention to detail enabling accurate processing of financial data across multiple entities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint supports efficient workflow management.
- Ability to adapt quickly within an inclusive team environment that values responsiveness over speed.
- Excellent communication skills allowing you to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels across global teams.
- Relationship-building capabilities that foster trustful connections within diverse groups.
- Organisational skills that help balance routine duties alongside project-based tasks without compromising quality.
- Willingness to participate in safeguarding training sessions as part of ongoing professional development.
