Junior Accountant Role
This Junior Accountant role supports the accounting and finance team. You will be involved in essential financial tasks that help keep the business running smoothly.
Client Details
This role is with a successful company that operates across the UK and has a supportive and dynamic team.
Description
- Assist with preparing financial statements and reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments.
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintaining general ledger.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Monitor budgets and track expenses.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Maintain financial data and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team on various ad-hoc projects.

Profile
A successful Junior Accountant should have:
- Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be qualified by experience.
- A solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Experience working with accounting software and tools similar to SAP and Oracle.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

Job Offer
Salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
