Junior Accountant – London, UK

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our UK Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic international retail environment.
What you'll do
As a Junior Accountant, you will support the day-to-day finance operations across the UK and Netherlands business reporting to the UK Accounting Manager, including:
- Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
- Performing bank, supplier, and payment reconciliations.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity within SAP.
- Assisting with audit preparation and compliance requirements.
- Supporting payroll administration and finance reporting.
- Providing administrative and operational support to the Finance team and retail stores.

What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or AAT qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organisational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to our retail stores when required.
