Junior Accountant – London, UK

Location: London, UK
Starting Date: September 2026
Department: Finance
Remote work: 1 day per week

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our UK Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic international retail environment.

What you'll do

As a Junior Accountant, you will support the day-to-day finance operations across the UK and Netherlands business reporting to the UK Accounting Manager, including:

  • Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Performing bank, supplier, and payment reconciliations.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity within SAP.
  • Assisting with audit preparation and compliance requirements.
  • Supporting payroll administration and finance reporting.
  • Providing administrative and operational support to the Finance team and retail stores.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or AAT qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organisational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to our retail stores when required.
