Junior Accounts Assistant (Remote) – £30,000 + Training Provided – Entry Level
Location: Remote
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity with full training provided, making it ideal for graduates, AAT students, administrators, customer service professionals, and individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in finance and accounting.
Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you will support a variety of accounting and administrative tasks while developing practical knowledge of financial processes and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing purchase and sales invoices.
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts.
- Process expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare payment runs and assist with bank reconciliations.
- Update accounting systems and digital records.
- Assist with month-end finance administration.
- Maintain confidential financial documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team.

Skills & Experience
- Interest in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Previous administration, customer service, retail, hospitality, or finance experience is beneficial.
- Studying towards AAT or an accounting qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- No previous finance experience required – full training provided.
