Junior Office Assistant

Cavendish Munro, a Lloyd’s broker based near Tower Hill in the City of London, specialises in providing Professional Indemnity insurance to a wide range of businesses, including Architects, Solicitors, Accountants, and Surveyors.

As our company continues to grow, we are looking to expand both our Administration and Accounts Teams, creating an exciting opportunity for a Junior Administrative & Accounts Assistant. This role is split between administration and accounts, giving broad exposure to someone at the beginning of their professional career.

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Possess high attention to detail
  • Are proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Can work independently while knowing when to seek guidance
  • Have strong teamwork skills and can operate with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Assisting various departments with day-to-day tasks
  • Handling incoming calls and customer queries
  • Greeting visitors and ensuring they are assisted
  • Managing office supplies and stationery needs
  • Booking and maintaining meeting rooms
  • Sorting and distributing post
  • Performing general office administration duties

Accounts Support:

  • Assisting the Accounts Department with:
    • Invoicing / Statement distribution
    • Loan administration
    • Daily bank receipt allocation
    • Credit control
    • Answering queries related to the above
