We foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, empowering our team with the expertise to deliver exceptional outcomes. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and growing in a supportive, high-performing environment, EX3 is the place for you.
We are driven by our core values: we are trusted, solution-focused, accountable, innovative, and always client-first.
The Opportunity
EX3 AI Labs is our dedicated research, innovation, and delivery engine for artificial intelligence. We work at the intersection of AI advisory, product development, and applied machine learning, helping clients across industries harness the full potential of AI, responsibly and at scale.
This is not a traditional graduate role. The EX3 AI Labs Graduate Programme is designed for ambitious individuals who want to shape the future of AI, not just observe it. From day one, you will work alongside experienced AI practitioners, data scientists, and technology strategists on real client engagements and internal innovation projects.
You will rotate across three core practice areas over two years, building deep expertise in the disciplines that define modern AI delivery:
- AI Advisory
- ML Engineering
- Software Development
Key Responsibilities
AI Advisory & Strategy
- Work closely with our AI Advisory team to support the design and delivery of AI readiness assessments and transformation roadmaps for enterprise clients
- Contribute to client workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder presentations on AI strategy and use case identification
- Research emerging AI trends, frameworks, and regulations to inform advisory outputs and thought leadership
- Assist in developing business cases for AI adoption, including ROI modelling and risk assessments
Machine Learning & AI Engineering
- Translate client and end-user requirements into functional AI product specifications
- Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models using modern frameworks and cloud platforms
- Write clean, well-documented code (Python, SQL, and relevant ML libraries) for data pipelines, model training, and inference
- Support the deployment and monitoring of ML models in production environments
- Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model performance benchmarking

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
