About This Role
As a Junior AI Engineer, you will support the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions that address real-world client challenges. Working closely with senior engineers, data scientists, and consultants, you will contribute to projects across a range of industries, gaining hands-on experience in both technical delivery and client-facing work.
- Assist in building, training, and evaluating machine learning models, including data preparation, feature engineering, and model testing.
- Write clean, well-documented code and support the integration of AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
- Analyse data, identify patterns, and help translate analytical insights into practical recommendations.

- Participating in workshops, stand-ups, and design discussions.

You will also support best practices around model governance, ethical AI, and data security, ensuring solutions are robust, explainable, and aligned with client and regulatory expectations. As part of a growing team, you will contribute to internal knowledge sharing, documentation, and the continuous improvement of tools and processes.
This role is ideal for someone with strong foundations in AI and software engineering, combined with curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.

As a national organisation with clients across the UK, we require all candidates to have the flexibility and willingness to relocate post-training for deployment to client sites. Remote working cannot be guaranteed. You must have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of your contract with Sparta Global (British or Irish Citizenship, EU Settled Status, or Permanent Visa Holder). We do not offer visa sponsorships or accept Graduate or PSW Visas due to time limitations.
