Junior AI Implementation Specialist

We are looking for a Junior AI Implementation Specialist to join our remote team at Pixel Systems. In this role, you will help us build and deploy practical automation tools for our clients. A major part of your initial work will involve supporting a project for a major British financial firm. They have a lot of manual data entry and document review processes that we are helping them modernize using localized AI models and custom scripts. This is not about building flashy consumer apps, it is about making internal operations run more smoothly.

About Pixel Systems

Pixel Systems is a small, remote software agency that builds the tools teams actually use. We do not do marketing sites or trendy apps. Instead, we focus on the practical stuff: admin panels, CRM integrations, and the database migrations that people usually try to avoid. Our clients come to us when they need to replace a sprawling spreadsheet with a real database or get their different software tools to finally talk to one another.

We believe that working code is better than a perfect plan that never ships. Our approach is straightforward. We provide fixed quotes before we start, we do weekly demos, and we hand over everything, the code, the documentation, and even walkthrough videos, when we are finished. We use reliable, well-tested technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy to maintain. We are a team of developers and designers who prefer solving real operational headaches over chasing the latest trends.

The role

As a Junior AI Implementation Specialist, you will be working on the ground floor of our AI integration projects. You will spend your time moving data between systems, cleaning up datasets so they are ready for processing, and testing how different AI models handle specific financial documents. For our project with the British financial firm, you will be helping to ensure that the information extracted by our tools is accurate and formatted correctly for their internal databases.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a full-time, permanent position that is 100 percent remote. You will spend a lot of your day writing scripts to automate repetitive tasks, checking the quality of AI outputs, and documenting how these new tools work so the client's staff can use them without confusion. You will work closely with our senior developers, but you will also have plenty of time for deep work on your own.

What you bring

We are looking for someone who is organized and enjoys the process of making messy data clean and usable. Since this is an entry level role, we do not expect you to be a master of machine learning, but we do need you to have a strong logical mind and a basic understanding of how software works. You should be someone who:

  • Writes code that is easy for others to read and maintain.
  • Enjoys solving small, practical problems rather than just looking at the big picture.
  • Is comfortable working in a fully remote setup and can manage their own schedule.
  • Communicates clearly in writing, especially when explaining how a piece of code works.
  • Is patient enough to test and re-test AI outputs to ensure they meet the client's standards.
  • Has a basic understanding of how APIs work to connect different pieces of software.
  • Values simplicity over complexity in technical solutions.

Helpful background

While we will provide guidance, having some familiarity with the tools we use will help you get up to speed. It is helpful if you have experience with:

  • JavaScript or Node.js for writing basic backend scripts.
  • SQL and relational databases, specifically Postgres.
  • GitHub for managing code versions and collaborating with the team.
  • Basic prompt engineering or using AI tools to summarize and categorize text.
  • Creating clear documentation or short video tutorials for non-technical users.
  • Using Linux or command-line tools to move files and run scripts.

Working at Pixel Systems

Working here is a bit different than the typical agency experience. We do not have layers of management or endless meetings. We focus on shipping work that helps real people, like operations teams and financial analysts, do their jobs with less frustration. Because we are a small team, your work will be visible and you will see the results of your efforts quickly. This position is a paid role, and we offer a competitive salary that is attractive for someone starting their career in the software industry. You will have the freedom to work from wherever you are most productive, as long as you can join our regular syncs and stay on top of your tasks.

We value honesty and plain speaking. When something breaks, we fix it without pointing fingers. We expect everyone on the team to be reliable and to take pride in the stability of the code they write. If you prefer a quiet, focused environment where the goal is to build useful tools that last, you will find Pixel Systems to be a great fit.
