Junior AI Implementation Specialist
We are adding a Junior AI Implementation Specialist to our team to help bridge the gap between messy business data and the structured tools our clients rely on. Our partner is a London organization that needs help modernizing how they handle internal documentation and customer records using large language models. This is a full-time, permanent position that is fully remote, giving you the chance to work from wherever you are most productive without needing to visit a physical office.
About Pixel Systems
Pixel Systems is a small software agency that avoids the hype. We do not build social media apps or marketing sites. We build the internal systems that keep businesses running: admin interfaces, CRM integrations, and database connections. We focus on the practical work that companies often try to avoid, like moving data out of giant spreadsheets and into real, searchable databases. We work remotely and keep things simple. We tell our clients exactly what a project will cost before we start, we show our progress every week, and we give them everything they need to own the code when we are done, including walkthrough videos and clear documentation.
The role
Your main task will be to take the AI prototypes we design and turn them into stable parts of our clients' software. This usually means writing scripts to clean up data, connecting to LLM APIs to categorize old records, or building simple interfaces so staff can interact with automated summaries. You will be moving data between different systems and making sure it stays accurate. Because we are a remote team, you will spend your time writing code, documenting your steps, and recording short videos to show how a new feature works. You will be working directly with our senior developers to ensure that the AI features we add are reliable and easy for the client to maintain long after we finish the project.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you bring
You do not need years of professional history for this role, but you do need to be someone who likes solving puzzles. We need you to be organized and comfortable working on tasks that might not be considered flashy, like mapping database fields or testing how an AI handles different text formats. You should be able to write clear, readable code and follow instructions without getting lost. Being reliable is more important to us than being the fastest coder in the room. You should be someone who values honesty, admits when they are stuck, and enjoys seeing a project through to the finish line.
Helpful background
While this is an entry-level role, it helps if you have a foundation in basic programming and a curiosity about how data moves through the web. The following points are not strict requirements, but they will help you get started:
- Basic familiarity with JavaScript or Python from your studies or personal projects.
- An understanding of what an API is and how to make a basic request to one.
- Experience using GitHub to save your work and collaborate with others.
- Exposure to SQL or basic database structures like Postgres.
- A basic interest in prompt engineering or using tools like OpenAI to process text.
- Strong writing skills for creating documentation that non-technical people can understand.
- A quiet place to work and the discipline to manage your own schedule in a remote setting.

Working at Pixel Systems
We offer a straightforward working environment. There are no middle managers here and no unnecessary meetings. We focus on shipping code that helps people like warehouse managers or operations teams do their jobs better. This is a paid position, and we make sure our compensation is competitive for the market and the level of responsibility. Since we are fully remote, we rely on clear written communication and a shared commitment to doing good work without the drama often found in larger tech companies. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior engineers who value stability and clear logic over trendy shortcuts.
We have stayed small on purpose. By focusing on practical problems and using stable technologies, we avoid the burnout and chaos that come with chasing every new trend. We want to build software that lasts for years, not just until the next funding round. If you prefer a quiet, focused environment where the goal is to provide real value to clients through clean code and honest communication, you will fit in well with how we work.
