Junior Analyst - Fund Services
Location: London
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working Pattern: 3 Days in office
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Analyst to join a growing Fund Services team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career finance professional looking to build a career within fund administration and financial services. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to fund accounting, financial reporting and investor servicing across a diverse portfolio of venture capital and real estate clients.
The role offers excellent training and development opportunities, with the chance to build your technical accounting knowledge, develop strong client relationships and work towards relevant professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting frameworks.
- Support with the calculation of management fees and investment interest.
- Assist with investor, financial and regulatory reporting.
- Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in line with relevant standards and procedures.
- Support with AML and other regulatory requirements in coordination with investors and the Compliance team.
- Assist with maintaining subscription agreements and supporting documentation.
- Respond to routine client and investor queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, investors, auditors and advisors.
- Support the team in maintaining internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Ensure deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard.
- Keep up to date with relevant industry developments, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

About You
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with a genuine interest in accounting, finance and fund services. You may be a recent graduate looking to take your first step into financial services, or an early-career professional with some previous accounting or finance experience who is keen to develop their career within fund administration.
You will be organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers, while also having the communication skills to build positive relationships with clients and investors.

Skills & Experience
- A minimum 2:1 degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience within accounting, finance or financial services is desirable but not essential.
- Relevant internships or placements will also be considered.
Professional Development
The role offers ongoing training and development, with opportunities to work towards professional accounting qualifications. Candidates with existing exemptions towards ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA or an equivalent qualification are also welcomed.
