Job Title: Junior Analyst, Digital Resilience
Reporting to: Head of Monitoring and Insights, Digital Resilience
Job Purpose:
Working in the Digital Resilience Team
The Schillings Digital Resilience team work at the forefront of protecting and enhancing the reputations and security of clients in an increasingly digital world. They are experts at using digital methods - across communications strategy, search, digital media and AI - to build reputational resilience and manage clients through crises.

The Junior Analyst Role
You will be working across all DR practice areas, including Social, Search and Monitoring. This will include (but not limited to): digital assessments, digital campaigning, media and social monitoring, online profile management (search, forum and Gen AI), SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), digital advertising and content creation.
The right candidate will:
- Demonstrate a deep interest in current affairs, in the way the world really works, and helping clients to navigate that. Specifically, demonstrating curiosity about geopolitical events, technological advancements, and shifts in media consumption that impact reputation and security.
- Enjoy delving into information, connecting dots, interpreting data, analysing information, and summarising your findings. This might be demonstrable by your university coursework or research. This includes the ability to synthesise information from disparate sources and identify emerging trends or potential issues before they escalate.
- Work well in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
- Bring the right attitude - we will teach you how to use the tools. A proactive and eager attitude to learn and master new digital tools and methodologies is essential, as the digital landscape is constantly evolving.

This is an entry/junior level role with genuine opportunities to develop and progress rapidly. You will work alongside and learn from leading experts in digital strategy, with the opportunity to develop in-demand digital and communications skills. You will also learn business writing skills, strategic and critical thinking and managing ambiguity – key attributes for success at Schillings. There will be opportunities to work closely across teams, including Intelligence & Investigations, Legal, and Strategic Communications.
Role Accountabilities:
- Use industry standard tools to search for, analyse and track conversations and media coverage around our clients, across a variety of subject matters and jurisdictions. This information will be used to inform critical strategies for how we advise and support our clients.
- This could involve tracking narratives around a high-profile legal case, monitoring online sentiment during a corporate crisis, or identifying potential security threats targeting a client.
- Produce summary reports – in the form of emails and formal reports – on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, depending on matter requirements.
- These reports are vital for keeping clients informed and enabling timely decision-making in fast-moving situations.
- Maintain that work and standard as part of Schillings' service to clients who are in crisis periods.
- Be comfortable providing excellent service in high stakes situations.
- Visualise and present data creatively to inform analysis for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Your ability to translate complex data into clear and compelling visualisations will be key in communicating insights to both internal teams and clients.
- Follow data reporting processes and strategies.
- Provide insights and advice on the reputation impact of social media content, recognising whether it is harmful or advantageous to the client’s objectives.
- Represent the Digital Resilience team across the firm by being collaborative, curious, accountable, and professional at all times.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- University degree (2:1 minimum).
- Interest and awareness in current affairs, including geopolitical developments.
- An understanding of how global events and political shifts can intersect with digital reputation and security is highly valuable.
- A critical, logical, and lateral thinker who is intrinsically curious and inquisitive.
- The ability to think creatively to solve novel problems in a rapidly changing environment is crucial.
- Succinct, clear written communication and persuasive drafting skills; with excellent spelling and grammar.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in using social media platforms such as TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, or LinkedIn, and understanding of how these platforms function as sources of information and vectors for reputational risk.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and a proven ability to use it in data analysis. Experience with other data analysis or visualisation tools would be advantageous.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure, respond nimbly to urgent requests and competing deadlines, and effectively prioritise and organise tasks.
- Strong personal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong desire to provide exceptional service to internal and external clients, often under pressure.
- Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, and willingness to work flexibly to meet client needs.
- Proficiency in a language additional to English is a bonus.
