Junior Analytics Analyst

We are adding a Junior Analytics Analyst to our team to help manage data systems for a major British infrastructure partner. This project involves organizing and interpreting the large amounts of operational data they use to keep their services running. You will be helping us turn messy, fragmented information into clear, usable reports that help their teams make better decisions every day.

About Pixel Systems

Pixel Systems is a small, remote software agency. We do not build flashy social media apps or marketing websites. We focus on the practical tools that businesses need to function: admin panels, CRM integrations, and database migrations. Our clients come to us when their spreadsheets become too big to manage or when their different software tools refuse to communicate with each other. We work as a fully remote team, providing fixed quotes and delivering working code along with full documentation and walkthrough videos. We prefer stable, reliable technologies like Postgres and Node because we care more about software that works than following the latest industry trends.

The Role

In this role, you will be working closely with our developers to handle the data side of our infrastructure project. Much of the work involves moving data between systems, identifying errors in legacy databases, and cleaning up information so it can be migrated safely. You will spend time looking at how data is structured and finding ways to present it clearly through internal dashboards. This is not about abstract theory: it is about ensuring that a warehouse manager or an operations lead has the correct numbers on their screen when they start their shift. Because this is a fully remote position, you will manage your own schedule while staying in close contact with the rest of the team through regular check-ins and demos.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you bring

We are looking for someone who is naturally organized and enjoys the process of tidying up complex information. You do not need a long history in the industry, but you should be comfortable with the following:

  • A logical approach to problem solving and the ability to spot patterns in large sets of information.
  • Strong communication skills, especially when explaining technical findings to people who might not be data experts.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets and a basic understanding of how databases are structured.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote setting without needing constant supervision.
  • Attention to detail, particularly when checking for small errors that could cause larger issues during a data migration.
  • A preference for straightforward, functional solutions over overly complicated ones.
  • Patience when dealing with old, messy data sets that require manual cleanup.

Helpful background

While this is an entry-level role, it is helpful if you have some familiarity with the tools we use. Mentioning these in your background is a plus, but we are happy to help you learn the specifics on the job:

Working at Pixel Systems

Working here is different from working at a large corporation. We are a small, flat team where everyone is expected to contribute to the final result. There are no layers of middle management to navigate. You will see the direct results of your work as it gets shipped to the client and put into use. This is a permanent, full-time position that is entirely remote. We value clarity, honesty, and getting the job done right the first time. The pay for this role is competitive and attractive for the current market, reflecting the importance of this project to our agency and our partner.

We pride ourselves on being a no-drama workplace. We focus on the work at hand and respect each other's time and autonomy. If you prefer a quiet, professional environment where you can focus on solving real operational headaches, you will fit in well here. We value people who are reliable and who take pride in providing clean, accurate work for our clients.
