At Agoda, we bridge the world through travel. Our story began in 2005, when two lifelong friends and entrepreneurs, driven by their passion for travel, launched Agoda to make it easier for everyone to explore the world.

Today, we are part of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG], with a diverse team of over 7,000 people from 90 countries, working together in offices around the globe. Every day, we connect people to destinations and experiences, with our great deals across our millions of hotels and holiday properties, flights, and experiences worldwide.

Get To Know Our Team:

Strategic Partnerships is a team of creative entrepreneurs that develop solutions for Agoda’s non-accommodation partners and promote Agoda’s top and bottom-line growth. We design tailored business and product solutions with our partners and help them generate measurable value. Members of our team are empowered and supported to grow their market(s) or accounts. We develop win-win relationships and leverage Agoda’s unique accommodations portfolio and tech solutions to bring our partners the advantages they seek. Utilizing our strong brand and resources, we build new channels to increase the visibility of Agoda, introduce more travelers to our great products and service and deliver significant revenues to the overall business.

The Opportunity:

The Junior Application Specialist - Salesforce is responsible for maintaining existing Salesforce functionality (SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, and ExperienceCloud) and assuring user satisfaction and adoption. The role sits at the intersection of business process design, Salesforce configuration, integrations, stakeholder management, and user adoption. You will assist with designing, developing, and implementing new Salesforce features across the commercial organization.

The team needs a specialist who can bridge day-to-day Salesforce execution with broader business needs: implementing features, improving process efficiency, supporting data quality, and enabling adoption. A Junior Salesforce Application Specialist is deeply committed to solving user (customer, provider, and internal users) pain points and identifying opportunities to improve their experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

In practice, this role is most valuable when the team needs someone who can own medium-complexity Salesforce problems end-to-end, keep stakeholders aligned, and make the platform easier to use and more scalable over time.

What You’ll Do:

  • User Experience & Adoption: Maintain existing Salesforce tooling, ensure user satisfaction, and champion continuous improvements in UI/UX (Lightning App Builder, page layouts, dynamic forms). Support end users through training, user assistance, and issue resolution.
  • Core Administration & Scalability: Perform system administration including user management (profiles and roles), validation rules, Lightning Flows, record types, and mobile setup. Stay current with Salesforce seasonal releases and recommend new features.
  • Implement Salesforce features with a focus on automation and efficiency using Flows, standard OOTB automations, and where needed APEX/Javascript.
  • Release & Change Management: Support release management (sandbox refreshes, deployment planning, UAT coordination) and document changes and configurations.
  • Security & Health Checks: Review data security, sharing rules, and ensure GDPR compliance. Monitor system performance, storage usage, and manage data backup systems (e.g., OwnBACKUP).
  • Reporting: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and Salesforce data quality to support operational visibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of hands-on Salesforce experience for the Application Specialist role
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, administration, and platform functionality.
  • Experience designing and implementing new processes and improving user adoption.
  • Understanding of relational databases, integrations, and source-to-target data mappings.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices, tools, and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and the ability to articulate complex requirements clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative working style.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working across both configuration and light technical implementation, rather than purely declarative administration.
  • Exposure to APIs, service-oriented architecture, and collaboration with non-Salesforce engineering teams.
  • Evidence of ownership beyond ticket execution, including documentation, stakeholder follow-through, and improving the operating model around the platform.
  • Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud or Service Cloud certification is a plus
