A leading global financial services firm, renowned for its innovative solutions in trading and capital markets, is seeking a talented individual to join its dynamic team. This firm provides critical infrastructure and services directly to global FX, Rates, eCommerce, and Credit businesses, operating with major server hubs across the world to ensure seamless financial operations.

The Role

  • Provide front office application and production support to global FX, Rates, eCommerce, and Credit businesses.
  • Manage and resolve P1/P2 incidents and problems end-to-end, communicating effectively with internal users and management.
  • Support global uptime targets (99.9%) for the Rates and Credit eTrading platform, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Document support procedures and manage the team's knowledge base for in-scope applications.
  • Contribute to capacity management, identify potential risks, and seek to reduce manual interventions.
  • Participate in release cycles for functional validation and coordinate deployment and post-release checks.

What You'll Need

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar numerate discipline, with strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • High motivation to learn and adapt within a large and complex financial environment.
  • A genuine interest in, or understanding of, front office trading environments and the criticality of trading applications.
  • Prior experience in a similar support role, ideally within Front Office Trading, is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Python, particularly for scripting and automation tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive mindset for supporting users and traders under pressure.
