About Us

The Field Sales team is a core part of Dyson’s Sales Department. As a Junior Area Manager, you will play an important role in driving product sales and building awareness of the Dyson brand across a defined portfolio of retail stores within the South West region.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress into a regional leadership role. You will gain hands-on experience in sales performance management, people leadership, retailer engagement, and commercial operations while working closely with experienced Area Managers and the wider Field Sales team.

Regionally based, you will collaborate with Account Managers, Marketing, Finance, and Retail Operations teams to help deliver Dyson’s sales strategy across your territory.

About the Role

  • Support the delivery of Dyson sales targets across a portfolio of retail stores in the South West.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and brand visibility.
  • Work with retail partners to increase awareness and distribution of Dyson products.
  • Maintain regular store visit schedules through effective diary and journey planning.
  • Assist in executing regional sales initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Build strong relationships with Store Managers, Department Managers, and retail colleagues.
  • Analyse store performance data and provide recommendations to improve results.
  • Ensure reports and store feedback are completed accurately and on time.
  • Lead, coach and motivate your team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets.
  • Ensure Dyson displays are clean, compliant and visually engaging.
  • Provide regular updates on store visits, sales performance and retailer feedback.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
