D’Stassi Art Sales Team Opportunity
D’Stassi Art is seeking ambitious, commercially minded individuals to join our sales team at our contemporary art gallery in Shoreditch, London.
The Role
This full-time new business sales position focuses on identifying prospective collectors, developing client relationships, and converting opportunities into artwork sales. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and Managing Director, receiving guidance, training, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Engage with new enquiries and prospective collectors
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective collectors
- Develop long-term client relationships
- Understand each client’s interests, budget, and collecting objectives
- Present suitable artworks and provide information about artists, availability, and pricing
- Work towards individual and gallery-wide sales targets
- Maintain accurate client information within the gallery CRM system
- Support gallery events such as private views, exhibitions, art fairs, and collector dinners
- Represent D’Stassi Art professionally inside and outside the gallery
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales, Managing Director, and gallery team

Who We Are Looking For
- A strong desire to build a successful career in sales
- A tenacious, proactive, and results-focused attitude
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A confident, professional, and personable telephone manner
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence engaging with clients face to face
- A welcoming and polished demeanour
- Ability to listen carefully and understand a client’s requirements
- Willingness to learn and follow an established sales structure
- Strong organization and consistent follow-up habits
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend exhibitions, launches, dinners, and events
Experience
This position is suitable for someone at the beginning of their sales career, an existing salesperson, or someone looking to move into the contemporary art market. Previous art-market experience is not required. Training and guidance will be provided.

Career Development
D’Stassi Art is growing, offering opportunities for high-performing team members to progress into roles such as:
- Senior Sales Consultant
- Art Broker
- Account Manager
Remuneration
- Basic salary: £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
- Commission: Uncapped commission on completed sales
- OTE: Circa £70,000
