We’re looking for a Junior Art Director to cover our North Region + to join usđŸŒ±

Purpose

As Junior Art Director, you'll support in bringing the Wagamama brand to life across every touchpoint. You'll play a key role in developing creative ideas and delivering standout visual content, while taking ownership of the day-to-day creative direction of our internal content studio and social-first shoots.

Working closely with designers, producers, copywriters, and the wider marketing team, you'll help create engaging campaigns, social content, photography, and video that feels unmistakably Wagamama.

You'll be hands-on throughout the creative process, from concept through to delivery, ensuring every piece of work is executed to the highest creative standard.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the creative direction of the internal content studio, planning and art directing photography and video shoots for social, digital, and CRM.
  • Support the Art Director in developing creative concepts and campaign ideas across marketing, social, restaurant, and brand communications.
  • Take ownership of social-first creative, ensuring content is engaging, culturally relevant, and aligned to the brand.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, producers, copywriters, and external partners to deliver creative from concept through to final execution.
  • Help maintain and evolve Wagamama's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Partner with marketing, digital, food, and production teams to deliver integrated creative solutions.
  • Stay on top of emerging design, social, and content trends, bringing fresh thinking and new ideas into the team.
  • Build strong working relationships with photographers, videographers, stylists, talent, and production partners to deliver high-quality content efficiently.
  • Support on larger campaign shoots and creative projects led by the Art Director where required.

  • Experience in a junior level art direction role, with a portfolio to share.
  • Someone able to bring fresh ideas and creative thinking that strengthens the Wagamama brand.
  • Experience building trusted relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring creative output is delivered to a consistently high standard.
  • Project management.
  • Someone who contributes to a positive, collaborative, and ambitious creative culture.
