About Collective
Collective is a London-born bike brand with a world that goes well beyond bikes. We have collaborated and created projects with Jordan Brand, Oakley, and Nike. We have produced campaigns and activations in London and Milan, brought bike life to FISE World Montpellier, and created One World One Wheel, which connected thousands of riders across five continents in a single day.
We are now building across the UK and Europe.
The Opportunity
The creative opportunity is broad:
- Campaigns
- New products
- Art direction
- Photography
- Film
- Collaborations
- Events
- Rider projects
- Brand identity
You will be involved when the idea is being formed, not brought in at the end to make the assets. You will work directly with the founder and with photographers, filmmakers, riders, collaborators, and brands. There is very little distance between an idea and something going live.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Are Looking For
For someone early in their career, that is the opportunity. We are not looking for a finished Art Director. We are looking for a very good designer with exceptional visual judgment and the potential to become one.
Your graphic design fundamentals need to be strong. Typography, composition, layout, and image selection matter. Photoshop and Illustrator should already feel comfortable. Some experience with photography, moving image, or editing is useful. It does not need to be advanced. Maybe you have experimented at university. Maybe you shoot your own projects. Maybe you have taught yourself.
Those skills can develop. The eye comes first.
You should have strong references, good instincts, and opinions about work. You should care about fashion, photography, film, music, design, and the wider culture around you. You should be able to look at something and understand why it works, or why it does not.

Alongside your portfolio, send us three pieces of your own work that best represent you and three pieces of work by other people that you wish you had made.
