Junior Asset Manager
Role Overview
We are looking to hire two proactive and driven Junior Asset Managers to support with the management of a portfolio of commercial properties, including office and shopping centre units.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent communication, strong organisation and a real sense of ownership. You will work with everyone from tenants, contractors and agents to solicitors and senior leadership, while ensuring leasing transactions and key asset management activities progress efficiently.
A key focus will be supporting with leasing deals from Heads of Terms through to legal completion, alongside managing lease events, voids, renewals and rent reviews.
You will receive hands-on training and development across all aspects of commercial property asset management, with support towards relevant professional qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop into a well-rounded Asset Manager and build a long-term career within commercial property.
- Office location: Richmond, London (Minimum of 4 days required in the office)
- Salary: to be confirmed upon application
- Holiday and Benefits: 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays - Pension contribution, and healthcare package – Travel expenses will be covered
- Reporting to: Director and Head of Investment

Responsibilities
- Assisting with leasing deals, from initial enquiries through to legal completion. Helping to source new tenants and liaising with agents, getting involved in data analysis work, along with the tenant enquiries and outreach programme.
- Assist with monitoring upcoming lease expiries and renewals, helping to engage with tenants on renewals and future plans under the direction of senior team members.
- Keep on top of admin, saving files, keeping records of conversations, updating the systems and ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with managing pre-void and void units, helping to track actions and keep records up to date.
- Build strong working relationships with tenants, agents, solicitors, contractors and other stakeholders, learning from senior colleagues along the way.
- Support weekly and monthly reporting, helping to maintain clear and accurate records of transactions, lease events, risks and opportunities.
- Keep systems including Monday.com and Re-Leased accurate and up to date on a daily basis.
- Work closely with senior members of the team to develop your commercial property knowledge, taking on increasing levels of responsibility as your experience and confidence grow.
Skills and Qualifications
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in property / real estate.
- An interest in developing experience across commercial property, including office and shopping centre/retail assets.
- An understanding of commercial property legislation, including the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
- Basic understanding of commercial leasing
- Basic understanding of rent reviews, renewals, lease expiries and break options.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisation, reporting and attention to detail.
- Proactive, commercially minded and willing to learn quickly.
- Confidence and professionalism when dealing with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A desire to build a long-term career in commercial property and develop towards relevant professional qualifications.
