Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading mid-market infrastructure investment platform that is looking to strengthen the junior end of its Asset Management team.

The platform invests across energy transition, utilities, transport, and social infrastructure, taking a highly engaged approach to its portfolio. Working closely with management teams, the investment team seeks to drive long-term value through strategic planning, operational improvement, and active ownership.

This is an opportunity to join a lean, growing team with significant exposure to portfolio companies, senior stakeholders, and a broad range of value-creation initiatives.

The Role

The role combines financial analysis and modelling with hands-on exposure to portfolio companies. Associates and Analysts are typically paired with a senior team member and a portfolio company, giving them the opportunity to contribute across both strategic and day-to-day asset management activities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building, maintaining, and enhancing valuation models, including quarterly updates and scenario analysis
  • Supporting business planning, budgeting, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Analysing financial and operational performance to identify value-creation opportunities
  • Supporting strategic initiatives including bolt-on acquisitions, refinancing, and capital allocation
  • Reviewing financial statements, contracts, and commercial agreements to inform asset strategy
  • Working directly with portfolio company management teams and supporting key strategic workstreams
  • Preparing materials for internal investment discussions, board meetings, and investor reporting
  • Contributing to broader portfolio and firm-wide initiatives, including cross-functional projects and analysis

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
