Our Communications & Media team specializes in private and public deals, working extensively with financial sponsors and corporates, and leverages a leading North American practice to drive European and cross-border M&A and capital raising opportunities in telecom and digital infrastructure.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Associate to join our London team, focusing on M&A and strategic financing in digital infrastructure and telecom. This role demands technical excellence, creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and strong judgment to help grow client relationships and our Communications and Media business across Europe, collaborating within a global investment banking team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modelling, valuation work, and due diligence for M&A and capital raising transactions.
- Prepare marketing materials, pitch books, and client presentations.
- Monitor trends in digital infrastructure and telecoms to support deal origination and pitching.
- Execute deals with rigor, autonomy, and teamwork.
- Strengthen client relationships with working teams at corporates and financial sponsors across multiple geographies.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in investment banking or a related field, with proven deal execution expertise.
- Track record of technical excellence in Excel and PowerPoint, strong numerical/analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of digital infrastructure or telecom sectors is preferred but not required.
- Strong academic record in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work in teams and develop client relationships.
- Fluency in Western or Southern European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, Italian, etc.) is a plus.
- Behavioural and communication attributes aligned with TD Securities’ culture, fostering trust with colleagues and clients.
- Appropriate regulatory credentials.
