After a successful probation period, usually assigned to one of our many Sports contracts, there will be plenty of opportunity to work on Gravity Media’s other contracts, and to progress to a supervisory level.
You would receive a competitive salary, expenses, paid annual leave and after a set period, membership of a Private Health Scheme & Pension.
Working location: High Wycombe
Working hours: 240 days per year, variable
Reporting to: Head of Audio
Role type: Full-time, permanent
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Rigging of broadcast sound systems, including commentary boxes, studios, effects microphones and intercom systems
- Preparation and maintenance of sound equipment before and after outside broadcasts
- Liaising with sports and entertainment venues to ensure installations are safe and appropriate
- Talent management, working closely with presenters, guests, and commentators.

This position would suit graduates with a degree in engineering, I.T. or computer sciences. However, we would be flexible for the right applicant.

Full training will be provided; however, the following skills would be advantageous:
- IT literacy, including networking and IP protocols
- Experience using sound equipment in a television / radio / live sound environment
- An understanding of audio and RF theory
- Strong personal skills for this client-facing role
- Ability to work within a team.
Due to the nature of our industry, these roles will require both national and international travel and regular weekend working. A valid UK driving licence is also a requirement.
