£30,000-£35,000 | Full-time | UK-based | Remote

Are you naturally curious? Do you enjoy researching new topics, speaking to people and turning ideas into something tangible? Are you highly organised, great with detail and looking for a role where you can take real ownership from an early stage?

We're looking for a Junior Awards Producer to join our growing Awards team and help produce industry-leading awards programmes across the UK, Europe and USA.

You don't need previous awards experience - we'll teach you that, you do however need to be a graduate, but what matters is that you're curious, organised, confident communicating with people and excited by the opportunity to take responsibility for your own projects.

What will you be doing?

Our awards portfolio has grown rapidly over the last four years and now includes nine awards programmes across three continents.

As a Junior Awards Producer, you'll work with our Head of Awards to take an awards programme from initial research and development all the way through to nominations, judging and the final awards ceremony.

This isn't an event logistics role. Your focus will be on developing the awards programme itself; understanding the market, identifying what and who should be recognised, building relationships with senior industry experts and delivering a credible and engaging awards process.

You'll:

  • Research specialist industries and speak to senior professionals to understand the trends, developments and innovations shaping their markets
  • Develop and refine award categories, judging criteria and entry guidelines
  • Identify and recruit respected industry experts and senior executives to join judging panels
  • Build relationships with judges and manage the judging process from nominations through to shortlist and winner selection
  • Drive high-quality nominations through research, direct outreach and engagement with organisations and previous entrants
  • Work with our Marketing and Editorial teams to promote the awards and build their profile within the industries we serve
  • Manage multiple awards projects, keeping deadlines, milestones and stakeholders on track
  • Work with our Events team on the content for the awards ceremony, including scripts, presentations, winner information and running order
  • Attend and support awards ceremonies in the UK and internationally

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be given real responsibility early on, while having the support and training you need to learn how successful B2B awards programmes are developed and delivered.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

You might be a recent graduate looking for your first opportunity, or already have some experience in events, publishing, research, marketing, project coordination or another role where you've developed strong organisational and communication skills.

More important than your exact background is how you approach things.

We think you'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Are naturally curious and enjoy learning about unfamiliar subjects and industries
  • Love researching, asking questions and getting to the bottom of how things work
  • Are confident picking up the phone and speaking with people you haven't met before
  • Can communicate professionally and build relationships with senior people
  • Are exceptionally organised and enjoy keeping multiple projects moving at the same time
  • Have excellent attention to detail and care about getting things right
  • Enjoy taking ownership and responsibility rather than waiting to be told what to do next
  • Are comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with colleagues
  • Can adapt when priorities change and deadlines get tight
  • Are commercially aware and interested in understanding what makes a successful product or event
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating across different areas of a business

It would be great if you also have...

  • Experience or an interest in B2B events, publishing, awards, conferences or project management would be useful, but none of these are essential.

You may also have:

  • Experience communicating with senior professionals or clients
  • An interest in insurance, intellectual property, life sciences, legal, financial or professional services
  • Experience using CRM, project management or awards platforms such as Evessio
  • Strong copywriting skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
