Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Bookkeeper / Accountant role based in Wembley. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, including:

- Recording transactions

- Maintaining accurate ledgers

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
- Reconciling bank and supplier accounts
- Updating accounting software with current financial data
The role will also involve supporting senior accountants with month-end and year-end processes, managing work towards deadlines, and ensuring documentation is organized and compliant with relevant standards. This position offers the opportunity to develop practical accounting skills and gain exposure to a variety of client businesses.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of bookkeeping and Finance, with the ability to assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ability to prepare and interpret basic Financial Statements and support senior staff with reporting tasks.
- Practical experience or training in Quickbooks.
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Relevant studies or qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (completed or in progress).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an office environment in Wembley.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, and other office applications; familiarity with UK accounting practices is an advantage.
