Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team on a day-to-day basis
  • Assist with training course bookings, learner registrations, and diary management
  • Help prepare training documentation, course materials, and learner information packs
  • Enter and update information accurately across internal systems and databases
  • Scan, file, and organise records, certificates, and course paperwork
  • Answer incoming calls and emails, taking messages and passing enquiries to the right colleague
  • Welcome delegates and visitors to the site and help them get settled for their course
  • Support trainers and operational colleagues with the practical preparation of courses
  • Assist with reports, spreadsheets, and general correspondence
  • Take on additional tasks and projects as your knowledge of the business develops

Essential Skills & Qualities

  • Good standard of general education, including GCSE English and Maths (grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook — further training will be provided
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organised, with an eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner
  • Willingness to ask questions, take direction, and learn new systems and processes
  • Able to manage your own time and see tasks through to completion
  • Comfortable working on a temporary contract basis, with flexibility and adaptability valued highly

  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, retail, or hospitality role
  • Experience of using a booking system, CRM, or database
