Junior Business Analyst - Capital Markets

About the Job
We are looking for a recent graduate with a strong interest in Capital Markets, Financial Services, and Technology to join our team as a Junior Business Analyst. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn business analysis skills while supporting transformation and technology initiatives across Capital Markets.
Hybrid Working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role
- Support requirement gathering, documentation, and process mapping activities.
- Assist in creating user stories, business documents, and project artefacts.
- Work with Business, Operations, Technology, and Testing teams.
- Participate in project meetings, Agile ceremonies, SIT, and UAT activities.
- Support data analysis and reporting using Excel and basic SQL.
- Maintain project documentation, action logs, and status updates.
- Learn Capital Markets processes and contribute to solution delivery.
Desired Knowledge
- Basic understanding of Capital Markets and Financial Services.
- Awareness of Equities, Bonds, FX, and Derivatives.
- Understanding of the trade lifecycle (trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, reporting).
- Knowledge of Front, Middle, and Back Office functions is an advantage.
Your Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of Business Analysis or Agile concepts.
Technical Skills
Essential
- MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic data analysis skills

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
