Junior Business Analyst – Private Markets Platform
A leading financial services organisation is looking for a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst to join its growing Private Markets Platform team.
The team brings together expertise across Business Analysis, Business Architecture, and Project Management, playing a central role in shaping how the organisation operates at scale. The team focuses on large-scale transformation, end-to-end process improvement, and designing scalable, future-ready solutions that support clients and investment teams.
You will play an active role in a major, ongoing business and technology transformation, including:
- Designing, re-engineering, and documenting key business processes with business and IT stakeholders.
- Conducting requirements analysis and detailed gap assessments across a range of business areas.
- Writing test cases and organising and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Supporting project management activities, including organising workshops with subject matter experts, overseeing IT delivery, preparing status reports, and supporting resource and work planning.
- Defining and presenting conceptual approaches, target operating models, solution options, and required decisions, both verbally and in writing.
- Working closely with IT counterparts to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
- Training business users on newly implemented tools and supporting adoption and the wider change management process.

We are looking for individuals who:

Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent experience in Business Economics, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Initial professional experience in business analysis, ideally within financial services or a leading consulting organisation, in a hands-on role at the interface between business and IT.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders and delivering to agreed deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions and process information quickly.
- Confidence in constructively challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes.
- Strong team-working and stakeholder-management skills across different levels of an organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.
