Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst in our fast-growing Private Markets Platform team. The team brings together expertise in Business Analysis, Business Architecture, and Project Management, and plays a central role in shaping how the firm operates at scale. Our focus is on driving large-scale transformations, improving end-to-end processes, and designing scalable, future-ready solutions that support our clients and investment teams.

What You Will Do

  • Designing, re-engineering, and documenting key business processes with different stakeholders on business and IT side;
  • Conducting requirement analysis and detailed gap assessments on a wide range of topics across the company;
  • Writing test cases, organising and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
  • Supporting in project management activities, such as organising workshops with SMEs, overseeing IT delivery, preparing status reports and resource & work planning;
  • Defining and presenting conceptual approaches (orally and in writing), target operating models, preparing solution options and required decisions, and documenting results;
  • Closely working with IT counterparts to bridge between business and technology teams;
  • Training business users on rolled-out tools, push for adoption and support the entire change management process.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who

  • Are curious and intellectually engaged, with a genuine interest in understanding complex and evolving business models;
  • Naturally ask “why”, challenge assumptions, and seek to understand root causes rather than symptoms;
  • Are comfortable challenging the status quo in a constructive and thoughtful way;
  • Have a strong desire to learn quickly, especially in new and unfamiliar domains and take ownership.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent, qualifying experience in Business Economics, Business Informatics, or Information Technology;
  • First working experience of business analysis in a financial services company or with a leading consulting firm in a similar hands-on role at the interface between Business and IT;
  • Motivation to work on own initiative and in collaboration with various stakeholders, ability to deliver on time with a high level of integrity;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions as well as process information quickly;
  • Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results;
  • Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and verbal English, German is a plus.
