Junior Business Development Manager
Join a growing cyber security SaaS business helping organisations strengthen security awareness and reduce everyday risk. This is a chance to build on your B2B sales experience, take ownership of new business opportunities and develop your skills within a supportive, high-performing sales team.
Role Overview
- Location: Central Leeds/Hybrid. (3 days per week in the office / 2 days remote)
- Package: £30,000- £32,000 per annum + uncapped commission (paid monthly).
- Industry: Cyber Security / SaaS
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create new business opportunities through outbound calling, LinkedIn, email and other sales channels.
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of prospects while developing your approach to effective prospecting.
- Speak with IT and information security decision-makers to understand their priorities and business challenges.
- Run discovery meetings and tailored product demonstrations, supported by ongoing coaching and training.
- Manage opportunities across the sales cycle, from initial conversation through to close and customer handover.
- Work towards quarterly sales targets while keeping your pipeline and forecasts accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with SDRs, marketing and channel partners to generate stronger opportunities and improve conversion.
- Continuously develop your sales skills through feedback, coaching and structured learning.

Main Skills Needed
- 6-12 months of end to end sales experience within a B2B environment.
- Background in SAAS, Cyber Security, Education Technology, LMS or CRM would be preferred.
- Confidence picking up the phone and engaging new prospects through outbound activity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with different stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in developing consultative selling, discovery and presentation skills.
- A motivated, target-focused approach with the resilience to handle the ups and downs of new business sales.
- Curiosity, coach-ability and a willingness to put feedback into practice.
- A collaborative attitude and desire to contribute to a successful sales team.
