Are you ambitious, commercially minded, and looking to build a successful career in business development?
Western Blueprint is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager to join our growing team and support our continued expansion across the commercial catering, hospitality, workplace dining, education, and leisure sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Head of Business Development, gaining exposure to prestigious projects and industry-leading clients while developing the skills required to progress into a full Business Development Manager role.

Western Blueprint specialises in the design, consultancy, and full Design & Build delivery of commercial catering and hospitality environments.
From contemporary coffee shops and leisure venues to large-scale workplace dining facilities, commercial kitchens, and educational catering environments, we help our clients create exceptional foodservice spaces from concept through to completion.
The Role
As Junior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to project handover.
You'll work closely with our design, project management, and leadership teams, helping to drive new business growth while gaining valuable experience within a dynamic and fast-paced business.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across key sectors
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, operators, contractors, consultants, and end users
- Generate leads through networking, LinkedIn, telephone outreach, email campaigns, and industry events
- Arrange client meetings and support business development activity
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Act as an initial point of contact for enquiries
- Support clients throughout the sales journey to develop long-term partnerships
Sales & Project Support
- Assist with proposals, presentations, and tender submissions
- Support opportunities from enquiry through design briefing and project handover
- Work collaboratively with design and project teams to ensure client requirements are fully understood
Strategic Growth Support
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and client meetings
- Support the development of strategic partnerships
- Contribute ideas to strengthen Western Blueprint's market presence

Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Highly motivated and driven attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Experience
- Sales or business development experience
- Construction, design, hospitality, catering, or fit-out sector experience
- Experience generating leads and developing client relationships
