About The Role

As a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst, based from the head office in Barton, you will support our Compliance team by improving the way we report and use data to analyse and improve department and Company performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Gather data from systems and databases, with accuracy and consistency
  • Write basic SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
  • Create regular reports to measure key metrics (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Analyse trends within key metrics that influence performance
  • Explain findings in a clear and non-technical manner
  • Work with different departments to understand reporting requirements
  • Produce accurate data to departments and key stakeholders
  • Monitor dashboard and automation performance, ensuring reports are accurate and delivered on time

About You

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • Highly motivated to learn how to analyse and translate complex data
  • Skilled in Excel with experience using varied data management software
  • Interest in developing skills in MySQL Databases
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Driven by producing quality work that supports good business decisions
  • Interest in analysing and interpreting large data sets
  • Have a key interest and understanding of maths, business and IT
  • Approach challenges with a problem-solving approach

This role will be based onsite at Wren's Head Office in Barton, working remotely is not an option for this role as you will be working closely with stakeholders.
