Role Summary
Videndum has an excellent opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst/Developer to join the Business Systems team, which is embarking on a major digital transformation project to consolidate business systems and processes across the group, spanning 1,200 employees.
This role will involve day-to-day support of the ERP systems, working collaboratively with other members of the Business Systems team or third parties to resolve issues. The role will also contribute to transformation projects, including reviewing and documenting current business processes (As-Is) and helping to define solutions to support the future single ERP system.
The Junior Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting and optimising IT and business systems across the organisation. This position is responsible for troubleshooting issues, improving processes, and ensuring the smooth integration and operation of business applications. The post holder collaborates with various teams, provides technical support, and helps foster a productive and customer-focused environment.
Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a willingness and ability to learn new technologies are essential for success in this global, multi-site role.
Bury St Edmunds/Hybrid - 3 days a week (after initial training period) in the office at Bury St. Edmunds.
Your Day-to-day Might Include
Business Support
- Provide tier 1 support to the Information Systems users.
- Act as the internal owner for issues that are passed to Third Party Functional and Technical Support teams.
- Administer user accounts and permission sets.
- Assist with Daily system checks.
- Work using the IT Service Desk and Change Management Systems.
- Design, support and build new interfaces between our Business Systems and Interface layer (Mulesoft).

Business Analysis
- Work with process owners and relevant stakeholders to document the current situation and apply relevant techniques to structure information.
- Elicit requirements from stakeholders to identify business and user needs.
- Analyse business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in IT projects, such as System Implementations and Upgrades.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert on our Interface Development and Support (Mulesoft)

Education And Qualifications
- Degree – Business Information Systems or similar.
