We have an opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join the team at our Silverstone facility. In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and managing supply-chain of components and materials. You will work closely with suppliers, production delivery leads, buyer team and engineers in a highly time-sensitive environment, ensuring parts are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget to support both factory and trackside activities.

- Raise purchase orders in line with technical requirements and in accordance with desired delivery dates
- Expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery, particularly for race-critical components
- Support resolution of supply chain issues, including delays or non-conformance
- Coordinate urgent or last-minute requests, especially during race events
- Work closely with team of buyers, production delivery leads and engineers to understand requirements and support in process development
- Assist with supplier selection and onboarding processes

What do we need from you?
- Experience in a purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-moving and highly dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP purchasing systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and escalate supply chain risks
- A collaborative team player who is eager to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Interest in engineering, manufacturing, motorsport, or Formula 1® environments would be advantageous
