Our client is hiring a Junior Buyer – Seasonal Category to join their fast-paced team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will support the development of exciting product ranges across key seasonal events throughout the year. You will help ensure our client sources the right products at the right price, quality, and stock availability for their customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a product range/subcategory within Seasonal to meet agreed KPIs.
- Work closely with suppliers to review ranges, negotiate pricing, and identify promotional opportunities.
- Analyse sales, forecasts, and stock levels across stores and distribution centres to maintain strong product availability.
- Conduct market research, evaluate competitor trends, and attend trade shows to uncover new product opportunities.

What Our Client Is Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a similar retail buying role.
- Strong commercial awareness and data analysis skills.
- Proven ability to build lasting supplier relationships and manage tight deadlines.
- Seasonal decorations or seasonal product experience is advantageous, but not essential.
