Junior Buyer
Solihull
I am currently recruiting for a Junior Buyer. This is a great opportunity for a strong commercial focused Junior Buyer to join the expanding team in their Solihull head office function.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Building & maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Sourcing suppliers & negotiating best cost prices
- Analysing sales figures to plan successful future lines
- Presenting reports, figures & trend information to the Buying team
- Dealing and resolving escalated supplier queries
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to keep ahead of trends

Key requirements for the role:
- Proven experience as Junior / Assistant Buyer
- Ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Able to adapt swiftly in a fast paced, ever changing market
- Good level of education
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
- Good working knowledge of budgets and managing conflicting projects
- Excellent understanding of all MS Office products including advanced Excel
