Junior Buyer (Remote) – £32,000 + Training Provided – Entry Level

Procurement | Purchasing | Supply Chain | Buying | Business Operations

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and organised Junior Buyer to join their growing procurement team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Buying, Administration, or Business Support, as well as graduates and career changers looking to start a career in procurement. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement and purchasing team with daily buying activities.
  • Assist with supplier research, quotations, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and purchasing records.
  • Monitor orders, deliveries, and stock requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Compare prices and support cost-saving activities.
  • Update procurement systems and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with supplier performance and procurement reports.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Good numerical and analytical ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in Junior Buyer, Buyer, Purchasing Assistant, Procurement Assistant, Supply Chain Assistant, or Business Administrator roles is beneficial but not essential.
  • Full training will be provided.
