The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Buyer to play a key role in our purchasing strategy and supply chain operations. You’ll be the day-to-day contact for suppliers, working closely with production, warehouse, and quality teams to keep everything running smoothly. From placing purchase orders to maintaining supplier relationships, you’ll ensure we have the right materials at the right time.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Administer and maintain purchasing SOPs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Production Planner to align with the 12-week production plan.
- Place and manage purchase orders for stock and non-stock items.
- Maintain and update a master supplier database with key details.
- Develop “just-in-time” programmes with major suppliers to optimise stock levels.
- Attend supplier meetings and support negotiations on terms and conditions.
- Work towards CIPS qualifications with full support from us.

About You
You’ll bring:
- Experience with Sage Line 200 or similar systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and IT skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
- A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- A degree in Business or Management.
