We are looking for an organised and ambitious Junior Buyer to join our Procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in purchasing and supply chain. Working closely with our Buyer and Senior Buyer, you will support the day-to-day procurement process, helping to ensure products are sourced efficiently, supplier information is maintained accurately, and internal teams receive the support they need.
What You Will Need In The Role of Junior Buyer
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A confident communicator who can build positive working relationships
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Keen to learn and develop within a procurement career
- Proactive, reliable, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a busy environment

The Responsibilities of the Junior Buyer
- Raise and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain supplier, pricing, lead time, and product information within our ERP system
- Monitor stock levels and support forecasting activities
- Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and order updates
- Manage back orders and supplier-related queries
- Collect and maintain product specifications, certifications, allergen information, and other supplier documentation
- Support new product development activities through administrative and data management tasks
- Provide purchasing support to internal departments including Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Finance
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the Procurement function
