Junior C# Developer Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Junior C# Developer to accelerate their career within a highly technical trading environment.

We are looking for a Junior C# .NET Developer to join a growing technology team responsible for building and supporting high-performance, real-time software used within trading.

This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or early-career developer who has already gained some commercial C# experience and now wants to take a significant step forward technically.

You'll work alongside experienced software engineers, gaining hands-on exposure to trading systems, real-time applications, high-performance software and complex technical challenges that you wouldn't typically encounter in a standard junior development role.

You'll be encouraged to learn, ask questions and gradually take on more responsibility as your technical skills develop.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and enhance applications using C# and modern.NET
  • Work on real-time, performance-critical trading technology
  • Learn directly from experienced senior software engineers
  • Build new features and improve existing systems
  • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
  • Work with SQL and relational databases
  • Investigate technical issues and learn how to troubleshoot production systems
  • Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging
  • Gain exposure to performance optimisation, scalability and system reliability
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle
  • Develop your understanding of professional software engineering best practices

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
