Hybrid Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Marsh team in either Norwich or London as part of our Renewable Energy & Power practice. This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work at least three days per week in the office, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with a highly experienced and supportive team while also benefiting from flexible working.

The role will provide the successful candidate with stimulating opportunities to be involved with Renewable Energy clients in this growing industry sector forming an important part of the Energy Transition.

This position would be ideal for either an experienced Account Handler or Client Advisor with a background in insurance or possibly someone from a different field of insurance such as Claims or Underwriting looking to get into a Client focussed position. We are looking for someone who is confident managing client relationships, well organised, and capable of delivering a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting experienced Executives managing their own portfolio of clients and eventually managing your own whilst ensuring the smooth day-to-day handling of their insurance requirements. This will include managing renewals, processing mid-term adjustments, supporting the preparation of client documentation, and responding to a range of client queries in a timely and professional manner. You will play an important role in helping to maintain strong client relationships and ensuring service excellence across the book.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse risks and provide solutions for clients’ needs including supporting the coordination of client renewals and placements, development of strategies to meet our client needs, building and developing strong relationships in the sector.
  • Respond to client day-to-day queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly to develop strong client relationships.
  • Assemble and deliver renewal strategies for client’s co-ordinating with the wider Marsh teams.
  • Assist with providing advice to clients including conducting market negotiations.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance markets to efficiently communicate client demands and requests internally.
  • Working on presentations and tender reports for clients and prospects.

Requirements

  • Client Executive/ Client Advisory/ Industry experience beneficial but not required – Graduate level candidates may be considered.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of corporate client accounts is ideal but not essential.
  • Knowledge of the insurance market.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Cert CII qualified and working towards ACII is desirable.
