Junior Clinical Fellow ST1-2 (CT1-2 Level or equivalent)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Clinical Fellow ST1-2 (CT1-2 Level or equivalent) to join our Surgical Department.
Location: Bournemouth Hospital
About the Role: This post is ideal for candidates with at least 12 months’ pre-registration experience in general surgery and emergency surgery. The role will be integrated into the elective and emergency workload of the department, working alongside FY1/2, nurse practitioners, and Middle Grade and Consultant teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work in both elective and emergency settings.
- Gain experience and knowledge in elective and emergency surgery.
- Participate in clinics, theatre, on-calls, and ward rounds.
- Full educational programme tailored to the individual's training needs.
- Access to educational supervision and study leave.

Remuneration: Upon relocation of the role/service, excess mileage allowance/reimbursement will not apply, and any travel between the postholder’s home and work base will be classified as a commute.
