We are looking for a part time Jr. Cloud Accounting Specialist to join our team - a role where your expertise will drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role:
- Assist with routine bookkeeping for multiple clients using cloud-based tools such as QuickBooks Online, Dext, and Plooto.
- Enter and organize client transactions and supporting documents accurately and on time.
- Support bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other month-end bookkeeping activities.
- Assist with payroll processing, sales tax filings, and basic financial reports under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Follow documented procedures, checklists, and quality-control processes.
- Identify missing information or possible errors and promptly bring questions to the appropriate team member.
- Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues when requesting information or providing routine updates.
- Participate in software training, team meetings, and professional development activities.

What you bring to the table:
- Currently pursuing, or recently completed a college diploma in bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of bookkeeping concepts gained through coursework, volunteer work, or previous employment.
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software is an asset; training will be provided.
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other digital tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and learn new systems and processes.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a client-service mindset.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
- Dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling client information.

Job Type: Part Time
Salary range: $20 - $25 per hour
