Junior Cloud Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technically minded Junior Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are starting their career in cloud computing. Candidates with relevant education, training, certifications, or hands-on projects are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Support the management of cloud-based systems, applications, and resources.
- Monitor cloud environments and assist with identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Support cloud security, access management, and basic infrastructure controls.
- Assist with backups, system maintenance, updates, and performance monitoring.
- Troubleshoot basic cloud infrastructure and connectivity issues.
- Work with senior engineers to implement and maintain cloud solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and support procedures.
- Assist with automation and infrastructure management tasks where appropriate.
- Follow IT security, data protection, and operational policies.
- Support other IT and cloud-related projects as required.

Requirements
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, storage, and virtualisation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Previous professional cloud engineering experience is beneficial but not essential.
