Junior CMS Developer
We are looking for a Junior CMS Developer to join our team and assist with a large scale project for a major British infrastructure client. In this role, you will help manage the digital systems that organize and distribute technical information across their internal networks. This is a fully remote position focused on building practical, reliable content structures rather than consumer facing marketing sites. You will work alongside our senior engineers to ensure that data remains accessible and the systems used by staff stay functional and easy to maintain.

The Role
As a Junior CMS Developer, you will be involved in the day-to-day management of content schemas and data structures. You will help build the administrative interfaces that allow our clients to manage their own data without needing a developer for every update. This role is about making sure information flows correctly from a database to a user interface.

- Configuring content types and fields within headless CMS platforms.
- Writing clean, basic code to fetch and display content via APIs.
- Assisting with the migration of data from legacy systems into new, structured formats.
- Testing content entry workflows to ensure they are intuitive for non-technical users.
- Updating documentation to reflect changes in the system architecture.
- Collaborating with senior developers to troubleshoot issues in the content delivery pipeline.
- Participating in weekly demos to show progress to the client.
- Assisting with basic frontend updates using React to display managed content.
What you bring
We are looking for someone who is organized and enjoys the process of making complex information easy to navigate. You do not need years of professional experience, but you should have a fundamental understanding of how the web works and how data is organized. This role is a paid, full-time position, and the compensation is competitive for the entry-level market.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Helpful background
While this is an entry-level role, there are a few tools and concepts that will help you get up to speed quickly. We do not expect mastery, but familiarity with these areas is a plus:
- Basic experience with React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for managing code changes.
- An understanding of how APIs work to move data between systems.
- Previous exposure to SQL or general database concepts.
- Experience with Markdown or other structured text formats.
- Any personal projects or coursework that involved managing data sets.
