Location: Levenshulme
Description
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Junior Commercial Analyst to join our growing Plant & Transport team in Levenshulme (South Manchester).
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or someone with early experience in a commercial, finance, operations or analytical role who is looking to develop their career within a growing and ambitious business.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the commercial performance of our Plant & Transport operation. You’ll work with data from multiple sources, supporting reporting, cost analysis and initiatives focused on improving efficiency and reducing spend.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident with data, highly skilled in Excel and keen to learn. While previous Plant or Fleet experience would be beneficial, we are equally interested in finding someone who is switched on, commercially minded and has the drive to develop.
As the team continues to grow, this role will offer excellent exposure and opportunities to develop your commercial and analytical experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
