About the job

Our client, a fast-growing and innovative fashion technology business, is seeking a Junior Commercial Lawyer to join its close-knit legal team on an interim basis.

You will work closely with the Legal Director in a small team of two. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of a broad variety of legal work and supporting a fast-paced, innovative scale-up business.

Key Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 2-3 Month Contract
  • Working Pattern: Full-time
  • Office Attendance: Hybrid/London (Tuesdays and Thursdays in office)
  • Pay: Daily Rate
  • Equipment: Provided

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting with contract renewals, contract reviews, execution processes, and general commercial agreements.
  • Assisting with consumer-related legal queries and helping to manage legal risk across customer-facing activities.
  • Providing support on product compliance matters and helping ensure business operations remain aligned with relevant requirements.
  • Assisting with data protection and privacy-related work across the business.
  • Supporting on a variety of ad hoc legal matters that arise within a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • Helping manage the team's day-to-day legal workload to enable the Legal Director to focus on higher-priority strategic matters.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with prior in-house legal experience.
  • Comfortable working in a small team across a varied workload rather than specialising in a single area.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and senior legal colleagues.
  • Able to take ownership of tasks and work independently where required.
